Subject Matter:

There has been a flurry of recent activities involving the NY PSC, NYSERDA, and the NY REV proceeding to remake New York's electric grid for the 21st century. Representatives from the PSC, NYSERDA and Con Ed will describe these latest developments and highlight some of the key demonstration projects.

John Garvey, NY PSC, will speak to the recent Value of Distributed Generation order and its application, the Clean Energy Advisory Council (CEAC) process and progress, and touch on the new goals for the state's energy efficiency programs.

Kevin Hale, NYSERDA, will fill in more details on the CEAC, the direction of NYSERDA's efficiency programs, and other incentives that fit into REV, and describe some of the more relevant demonstration projects.

Steve Wemple, Consolidated Edison, will describe their 'Value of D" implementation filing, explaining how Con Ed will be introducing the value stack concept for compensating DER. He will also touch on the Earnings Adjustment Mechanisms in the current rate agreement to encourage both traditional programmatic as well as new outcome-based.
